My New Evisu 2000s
It's been a while since I last updated the blog. I've been busy at work, and taking some well-earned time off; although I've not been able to fit in a trip to some exotic destination this time over.
Also, I have some hot news just waiting to be released in regards to a pet project of mine; alas, it is too early to share anything concrete. It's definitely denim related, and I'll leave it at that for now.
I did, however, have some time to shoot a small selection of pictures for your viewing pleasure. These are my newest addition to the collection, but I'm sad to say ended up a full inch too short for my taste. So, they are up for sale on SUFUs supermarket forum here!
Anyway, here come the pics:

These are my Studio D'Artisan SP 013s, the 30th Anniversary Limitied Edition. Well over 1 years wear on these beauties. They're still developing, however some weak spots have appeared in the crotch area, and on the inseam stitches at the hem. This is normal, and usually happens way earlier with other pairs, and I'm surprised the denim has lasted so long without anything tearing.
Finally I've come around to shooting some pictures of my SDAs; this during the Easter holdidays.
Anyway; enough chit-chat, on the the pics:

WH700 pictures
These are the newest shots of my Warehouse Lot 700 in 1000XX denim. Awesome evo for only 4 months of regular wear. Safe to say I'm well ahead of the other participants of the Osaka Showdown on SUFU.
Enjoy!

Warehouse Lot 700, 1000XX denim
Warehouse Lot 700 is a jeans I've been pining for the last months. Luckily for me, my good friend noticed (thanks Kaoru!), and I received it from him as a Christmas present. He got it for me on a trip to Japan, directly from a Warehouse & Co shop in Tokyo. Needless to say, Warehouse is known for their extremely well-produced jeans, using only the finest Memphis cotton; my pair is no exception!
I've worn them since 1.1.11, and they've already become soft and creasy. As an additional bonus, for these jeans I will do my utmost to document the evolution over an extended period of time, catching the process of fading through hard (and not so hard) wear. This will also be featured in the thread "Osaka showdown" on SuFu's Superdenim forum, which you should be sure to check out. I will attempt to get back on the subject as soon as possible!
Now I proudly present to you, the first pictures of my 700s:

Studio D'Artisan SP 013 @ 8.5 months wear
About 3 months have passed since my last post on my SP 013s. It's been a 3 months of various activities, and the wear during this period can be seen in the evolution of my jeans. A lot has happened, and the fades, combs and whiskers are much more visible than earlier shoots. Enjoy the latest shoot of these beauties:
